UK passport photo size: 600 × 750 px, 50 KB to 10 MB
For an online UK passport application: a photo at least 600 pixels wide and 750 pixels tall, between 50 KB and 10 MB, showing head, shoulders and upper body, not cropped by you. The preset below applies every part of the rule and shows the result before you download.

How it works
- The preset is set to 1200 × 1500 px, JPEG, 50 KB to 10 MB.
- Drop your photo. It is cropped around the centre to the exact shape, then compressed until it fits.
- Check the row: size, pixels, and whether it cleared the minimum.
- Download, and upload it to the portal.

Before you upload
- Take the photo in portrait on a phone from about 1.5 metres with head and shoulders in frame. The preset resizes to 1200 × 1500 pixels (a 4:5 frame) and only trims the edges if the original has a different shape; it does not crop to the head.
- The 50 KB floor is the rule people miss: a very plain photo saved at low quality can fall under it and be refused. The preset keeps quality high and shows whether the file cleared 50 KB.
- The rules page names no file type. JPEG is what phone cameras produce and what the preset writes.
