How it works
- The preset is set to 600 × 600 px, JPEG, up to 240 KB.
- Drop your photo. It is cropped around the centre to the exact shape, then compressed until it fits.
- Check the row: size, pixels, and whether it cleared the minimum.
- Download, and upload it to the portal.

Before you upload
- Start from a photo taken against a plain white or off-white wall with the head centred; the tool crops to a square around the centre, so leave room on all sides.
- The checker also looks at the content of the photo (head size, eyes open, no glasses). Those rules are on the official page and no file tool can fix them.
- A 600 pixel square JPEG is rarely above 120 KB, so the 240 KB limit is usually met at high quality; the preset still enforces it.
